Rojo Grande
This wine is a proprietary blend of Chilean Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenere. It has a deep garnet robe with violet reflections. The attack is aggressive, almost overpowering, and then the wine starts to unfold and its rich earthy tones become evident. The aroma has a bouquet of abundant ripe wild berries with a hint of peppers and spice that are in perfect harmony with and a slight “leathery” finish.
FOOD PAIRING: Grilled red meats, hearty stews, and pastas with rich sauces.
COMMENTS: A wine that is definitely not for the masses or people with weak taste buds. Your patience will be rewarded immensely.
